IAN PAUL deconstructs and reinvents the classic bomber jacket: as a queer, genderless, sizeless statement piece. The result is a collection of jackets, outfits, accessories and photographs, which will be exhibited as a collection for the first time on the 5th, 6th and 7th of June 2026 at Berlin - Ostbahnhof.

Deconstructing stereotypes. A middle finger to normativity. But above all: creating moments for simply feel fucking brilliant. Get ready for BOMBER*INNEN!

If this collection was a person, she’d be the big sister you always wanted: “Fashion is political,” she shouts in the streets, loud and wild and a bit angry too. Only to give you a big hug moments later, whispering into your ear: “You don’t have to say anything, explain anything – you’re beautiful. Let’s go out together and and show them all!”

BOMBER*INNEN is IAN PAUL’s first solo collection. As with her work as a costume and set designer, she’s been guided by the need for belonging and intense emotions: taking a stand with aesthetic pragmatism, forming alliances and radiating love – for FLINTA*s, queers and anyone with a cool attitude. With this attitude, the designer and her collaborators have taken the ‘bomber jacket’ to heart and skimmed off the military-masculine sludge, revealing its true essence: giving power to those who wear it – and that incredibly good feeling of being seen. To top it off, accessories that slam and support. Plus: patterns, shapes and colours that remind IAN PAUL of people severely missed, preserving their memories in the most loving way.

Naturally, all pieces are designed with explicit disregard of any gender-specific restrictions. The fit isn’t based on standard, ready-to-wear sizing, it is instead inspired by the diversity of bodies. So that every body can find the BOMBER* that suits them.
