Much has changed since the 1990s, and graffiti is no longer what some still believe it to be. While critics claim that graffiti and its subgenres are merely a constant reproduction, the featured artists showcase their very personal engagement with what has shaped them for years and continues to influence them today. Graffiti has evolved into abstract graffiti, a term that continues to take shape and whose history is only just beginning. It thrives on a wide variety of biographical and cultural identities. Places play a special role, as they often have a strong influence on the artists' perceptions. For this reason, we would like to present our individual perspectives to the public within the framework of this exhibition. However, it is intended to go beyond mere display. The venue is an open space for thematic exchange, discussion, encounters, and networking. Liquid Times, inspired by Zygmunt Bauman's Living in an Age of Uncertainty and his sociological analysis of our present, is a project that addresses the challenges of our time and refuses to be discouraged by them. It offers the opportunity to gain visibility and realize ideas through a flexible community. Liquid Times is a gallery concept where the space is redesigned every week. The exhibition is created on a rotating basis by different artists who contribute their own ideas and approaches in groups. This fosters an ongoing dialogue about forms, materials, and content, constantly transforming and expanding the space. Each week presents a new perspective on the theme, keeping the project vibrant and open.
