Despite the lack of space for artists and cultural workers we are constantly confronted with vacant spaces. Our vision is to make vacant spaces usable again for artists and to create places for art education. We have been pursuing this cultural policy agenda since our founding in 2021.

Our spatial projects create studio communities, exhibition spaces and artist-in-residence programs. In each project, we take a holistic approach. The focus is on community building for the artists and our art education formats.

 

Culterim's art education formats offer a diverse range of options for artists and art enthusiasts. With our own exhibitions, the accompanying artistic program in the residencies and the Independent Class, we offer exchange, development and visibility for artists of different professional levels.
