Despite the lack of spaces for artists and cultural workers, we are confronted with vacancies everywhere. Our vision is to make vacant spaces usable again for artists and to create places for art education. We have been pursuing this cultural policy agenda since our foundation in 2021.
 
Our space projects create studio communities, exhibition spaces and artist-in-residence programs. We take a holistic approach in the respective projects. The focus is on community-building for artists and cultural practitioners and our art education formats.

Culterim's art education formats offer a wide range of opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts. With our own exhibitions, the accompanying artistic program in the residencies and the independent class, we offer exchange, development and visibility for artists of different professionalism. The commercial gallery Gegen & Lücke continuously presents a high-quality exhibition program and represents emerging artists.
