CULTERIM | VISION

Despite the lack of spaces for artists and cultural workers, we are constantly confronted with vacant properties. Our vision is to make vacant spaces usable again for artists and to create venues for art education. We have been pursuing this cultural policy agenda since our founding in 2021.

Our spatial projects create shared studio spaces, exhibition areas, and artist-in-residence programs. In each project, we employ a holistic approach. At the heart of our work are community building for artists and cultural professionals, and our art education programs.

Culterim's art education programs offer a diverse range of opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts. Through our own exhibitions, the accompanying artistic program in our residencies, and our classes, we provide artists of varying professional levels with opportunities for exchange, development, and visibility. The commercial gallery Gegen & Lücke continuously presents a high-quality exhibition program and represents emerging artists.
