[BERLIN] KELLYHOSY'S THE DRAMA PRODUCE-RS Exhibition Bio

An inaugural solo exhibition tour curated by The Boring Nation as part of The Artist Launchpad, in collaboration with Culterim Spaces, this exhibition marks KELLYHOSY's formal introduction to the global contemporary art scene.

The Berlin presentation arrives from the exhibition's Hong Kong debut. Where the Hong Kong staging transformed a humble corner store into a theatrical stage, in Berlin the work moves to a street-facing Schaufenster: the characters step from canvas onto the glass, publicly viewable from the pavement. Through KELLYHOSY's distinctive character-driven visual language, everyday fresh produce become the protagonists — 'unhinged optimists' navigating burnout, apathy, and over-stimulation in modern urban life.

For Berlin, KELLYHOSY introduces a new member of her HOSY & Co. cast, Meltdown Sundae, unveiled here for the first time. Visible in person only, through a peephole on site, its subject is reserved for those who come to see it for themselves.
