Visceral is a small but significant exhibition in a modest space and marks a conclusion of photographic projects that convey a diversity of subject matter, sharing a raw and ‘unfiltered’ aesthetic quality pertaining towards lyrical, conceptual and socially engaged documentary photography; the disappearance of an Italian circus, the peripheral landscape of Berlin, personal story of the upheaval of Georgia, multiple views of the same face, individuals attacked by bigots, fathers loss of liberty, the mystery of a park, mundane urban place, memorial to fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
