Neda Aydin, born in 1990, studied at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin under Professor Albrecht Schäfer, Antje Engelmann, and Jeewi Lee. She is currently a Meisterschülerin (Master Student) of Alicja Kwade at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. In the field of art in architecture (Kunst am Bau), Aydin received first prizes for her designs Formschluss (former Federal Ministry of Finance / Postblock Nord, Berlin, 2023) and Einschluss (Cranzbau, 2026). Her work has been recognized with numerous awards and grants, including the Mart Stam Prize and the Marehalm Art Award for Emerging Artists. She has also received the Junge Kunst Scholarship from the Staff Foundation, the Mart Stam Scholarship / Deutschlandstipendium, and project funding with Berlin Glassworks in cooperation with the Alexander Tutsek Foundation.
