sommer.frische.kunst X Culterim | Residencies #2

Culterim | Residencies is beginning a new funded Artist in Residence programme. Artists will be provided free of charge with accommodation and workspaces for the duration of their stay, emphasising exchange, facilitating connections, and fostering an environment conducive to creativity.

Returning again to Bad Gastein, artists will be accommodated in Haus Bergfriede, originally built in 1887, and standing as one of the first buildings in the area. From the 11th until the 31st of May 2026, artists will be staying at the Haus Bergfriede, a place embodying a rich history of hospitality, serving as the living and recreational space. Studios will be provided at

Kraftwerk Bad Gastein for artists in residence, alongside a studio visit with Galerie Gegen & Lücke.

With the aim of artistic exchange and networking, an optional exhibition opportunity at sommer.frische.kunst will showcase works created during the residency. Works will be selected based on curatorial suitability.
